Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb

This was our big event in Sydney.  A three and a half hour climb of the bridge, right to the very top.  It was a perfect 'blue dome' day.  Two days previously they had experienced a dense fog!

The climb requires special clothing, individual radios, breathalising, removal of ALL loose items and a brief training on the safety equipment and techniques.  You most definitely can't take a camera. Loz could have wept, but with 8 lanes of traffic, a railway line, pedestrians and cyclists below, the consequences of dropping something 400+ feet is dire.  Everything that could drop is securely attached.

438 feet up on the top of the bridge.  It was fairly windy, but the view was spectacular.

It's 438' to the water...or four and a half seconds!
