The first rain for 63 days… well, 20 drops!
Update: The 20 drops didn’t count! It was to be another 10 days before measurable rain fell – just 7 days short of the record.
The project went public at the week-end and lots of great comments and helpful suggestions have come flooding in. Thanks to everyone who has responded.
Appreciation to Bridget for sugesting that the theme so far had been ‘alcohol‘…how very dare she!!!!
This weeks theme is starting to become obvious. Kairen is busy ‘red spotting’ and we have lots of potential subjects. I can see us returning to this one.
It’s the Chilli Festival in Freo today. We had a great time and left with mouths on fire and some hot stuff to try at home.
It’s St Patrick’s Day this week, so lets try a ‘Green‘ theme.
A mooch around the town and to Frank’s the butchers for steak tonight.
These VERY green leaves were just outside the shop. The slightly overcast lighting intensified the colour.
Today is Louise’s operation and we are so far away. I love her so much and do hope everything goes well for her.
These green apples are especially for my little blister…… if you want to know why? ask her!
A morning shopping to start to refill the fridge and freezers. Fuzzy jet-lagged brains take over come the afternoon.
These dwarf narcissus are the only colour in the garden at present, but a sure sign that Spring is on it’s way. However, it’s not very warm outside, just 12c, brrrrr…..
