Kairen was busy cooking dinner and this colourful stir fry became today”s photos
Doing some DIY today I had need to use my electronic callipers for sizing some bar. The accuracy of this kit is stunning and doesn’t require the interpretation of the traditional vernier units. Kairen’s Dad was a toolmaker and would have loved these.
A frustating afternoon dismantling one of my lenses which is proving ‘sticky’when focussing.
A step by step instruction set on the internet helped me. Unfortunately I could find no reason for the fault. I’ll just have to live with it!
These little screwdrivers made the whole dismantling possible.
It’s the 70th birthday of our good friend and neighbour Terry.
The party goes on well into the night and Steve was good enough to entertain us on the guitar for a time.
It’s Terry’s birthday present opening session.
Anyone who knows Terry will appreciate the humour of this T shirt.
A great week-end celebrating.
The village green just a few yards down our road is bursting into bloom. The daffodils of the Spring have gone and the decorative hanging baskets are magnificent.
This is one of those situations where it would have been nice to frame the baskets with the sign. No chance! …without distracting buildings joining the composition. So, I’ve published both….
