A wonderful drive along the Kirkstone Pass this evening, returning home. The sun is low and High Street looks beautiful.
The heavy rain of the last few days has swollen the rivers and Aira Force Waterfall is full and spectacular.
I was torn between two pictures today, so here’s the other…..
We drive across the Pennines to Beamish Museum. The museum is a town ‘frozen’ in the year 1913.
We were fascinated by the farrier replacing the shoes on the heavy horses.
Our last day in the beautiful Lake District and it seemed appropriate to post the iconic ‘Ashness Bridge’.
Back home now and busy tidying things away.
The bees are still around…….
A short week theme ‘Circles’.
Our Audi was an easy trophy!
I don’t know why,…… but I like this photo
