Left the house at 6.20 to go for our jog it was already 28c and was like running in a sauna. Just breathing burnt the back of your throat.
After breakfast we headed to the beach for our daily dose of sunshine.
Mid afternoon the temperature was up to 44c by 17.00 it had cooled to 32c so we sat outside we a few beers listening to Toby Foster's radio show (BBC Sheffield) on the computer.
There was a huge fire today in King's Park with lots of water bombing planes trying to control it.
Saturday 17th 33c
You could smell the smoke and when you looked down the street you could see it. It was a cloudy day and very muggy.
Mooched around the town, we are really tired today so we had a lazy afternoon.
We had booked a table at a new restaurant for dinner tonight. We got there and didn't like it so we left. Loz came back to the house to get two bottles of BYO and we ended up back a Bella Roma.
