Kuranda
Skyrail, Rainforest Station and Scenic Railway
This was one of our
big tour days, where someone else did the organising and map reading.
Skyrail, at
7.5 km is one of the world's longest gondala cableways. It gives a
birds-eye view of the rainforest and has two stops en-route to Kuranda.
To avoid disturbing the rainforest, each tower was placed by helicopter.
